About Me
Hey! I cannot wait to begin this journey with you! I have spent over 20 years working with children and families as an early childhood teacher and now continue to enjoy working therapeutically with them as a counselor. As a mother of 4, I believe that play is the primary method of learning. "We are never more fully alive, more completely ourselves, or more deeply engrossed in anything than when we are playing."- Charles Schaefer
I received my BA in Elementary Education from CSU Long Beach and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2022. I am also a graduate of Kineo Ministry Training Center in Dawsonville, GA.
My clinical interests are working with children, adolescents and families and I am passionate about working to provide support to individuals with emotional dysregulation, emotional trauma, anxiety, and neurodiversity. I enjoy creating an environment that facilitates a safe therapeutic relationship where you can feel comfortable and grow in your purpose! And I cannot wait to create this space with you!
In my free time, I like to visit US National parks and road trips with my family to make memories. I am working toward becoming an RPT (Registered Play Therapist) and work from an Adlerian theoretical approach. My approach is to help clients embrace their strengths and help adults and children alike approach life with a child's lens! Looking forward to working alongside you!
